Terms of Service

Last updated August 2026 · IronCoffee LLC

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and IronCoffee LLC ("Ourlee", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Ourlee you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy, our End User License Agreement (EULA), our Subscription Terms, and our Acceptable Use Policy, each of which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Ourlee, and we may ask you to confirm your date of birth or otherwise verify your age before you can use the app. Every member of a household must have their own adult account — Ourlee does not offer child accounts or child profiles. The app is for a household building a shared life: most often a couple who are dating, engaged, or married, and optionally a larger household of adults who live it together. There is no "discover", "match", or "browse other households" feature; people can only join a household by accepting an invitation from someone already in it.

3. Your account

4. Households: linking, leaving, and dissolving

Ourlee works by linking accounts into a household. A household is usually two partners; it can also hold several adult members. When you link, shared content becomes visible to every member of that household, including content added before they joined — so invite only people you mean to share everything with.

5. Your content

You and the other members of your household own the content you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, back up, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the app to you and the other members of your household. We will never republish, sell, or use Your Content for advertising, and we do not use it to train any AI model.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to it. You must not upload anything unlawful or that violates the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Your use of Ourlee is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't break the law, don't abuse other people, and don't attack, scrape, or overload the service.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Ourlee is free to use with limits; some features require Ourlee Pro, a paid auto-renewing subscription. Pro unlocks additional features such as external calendar sync, location history and drive trails, low-battery alerts, the full devotional and conversation-deck library, premium themes, and higher content limits. (Live location sharing itself is free.) Pro is sold per household — when one member subscribes, every member of that household gets Pro, and storage is a single shared allowance for the household rather than a per-person one. Pricing, the free-vs-Pro split, billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds are described in our Subscription Terms, which form part of these Terms. For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, the store's payment terms also apply.

8. Third-party services

Ourlee integrates optional third-party services (for example, Google Calendar sync, Apple/Google on-device geocoding for location labels, and optional map-matching providers for drive routes). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them. See our Privacy Policy for details on location data and subprocessors.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, upstream outages, and emergencies happen. We may add, change, or remove features. We will post service status at status.ourlee.app.

10. Termination

You can stop using Ourlee and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute terms) survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

Ourlee is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Ourlee is a relationship and organization tool. It is not marriage counseling, spiritual direction, medical, mental-health, financial, or legal advice. Curated content (verses, devotionals, prompts) is provided for encouragement only. If you are in crisis or danger, contact your local emergency number or a qualified professional.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IronCoffee LLC and its officers, members, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Ourlee. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50 USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold IronCoffee LLC harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the app, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Nothing here limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.

15. Changes to these Terms

We will notify you in the app before material changes take effect and, where appropriate, ask you to accept them. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
